PocketGene is a comprehensive mobile app where you can get genome information. The app facilitates the provision of information directly to the Physicians to give you the appropriate treatment. PocketGene-Know Your Gene, is a registered trademark owned by Zifo Genomics Research Institute (ZGRI).
In order to use the PocketGene on your smartphone, you will need to download PocketGene from the Play Store (for Android devices) or the AppStore (for iOS devices). Once you have installed the App, you can sign up in the app by giving your basic personal details.
By selecting the "+" icon in the top-right corner of the page, you can link the genetic cards of the members of your family in the app. Card names can be added for easy identification.
Yes, you will be able to edit nick name at any point of time.
The same phone number or email address cannot be linked for two different people. For each card connection, you will be required to use a different phone number.
The proforma can be requested in “Reports” section. Once the request has been submitted, the proforma will be sent to your registered email ID.
You can only view the total number of variants identified in “Card>Details>Primary Findings.” For more details about the variants, please raise a proforma request in the "Reports" section. Get the proforma signed by your physician to receive the clinical report.
It will take around 8-10 business days to get your test results. The app will notify you once the results are ready and it will be sent directly to the physician. You can consult him and discuss the results.
You can delete your account by clicking the “Delete Account” icon in “My profile” page
